Yes, it is location, location, location. We have AAA and have had good and some not so good experience. Flat tire on my F350 , long lug studs. Told them and the guy comes out with a regular 4-lug spinner. I said where are the deep sockets for the studs. He called his boss and the boss said we aren't responsible to carry a lot of tools. That was in Aberdeen , Washington. Three other experiences were very pleasing. Fuel injectors went out, they towed the truck and Monty 3500RL with one truck trip. Another time they used a tow truck for the truck an a pickup with a hitch for the Monty. The truck to the dealership and the Monty to my storage space. Had 2 bombs and they came right away to change the tires, forgot my jack, had a gray spot that day, lol. Oh yes, the flat bed tow trucks are just barely long enough with my front outer bumper. The rear wheels were at the back edge of the flat-bed. With our AAA we get 1-200 mile tow and 3-100 mile tows each, so my wife and I both have a card. That gives us 2-200 mile and 3-100 mile tows if needed. This covers whatever vehicle we drive.

We have Good Sam, but have never used it.

I just called yesterday to renew and they have a special going on, 3.5 years for $190.00

I dont know if this is for just renewals or what, but that's a good deal.

We have Allstate, but have never used it. Costs about $7.25 per month. Camping World tried to talk us into the Good Sam program, but not ready just yet.

We use Good Sam. Broke down in the middle of Kansas with spotty cell phone service. Had to use local tow service but was reimbursed by Good Sam. They did have a record of us trying to contact them. I'll continue to use Good Sam

We have Good Sam. Used them last fall when my truck would not start and needed to be towed to a dealer for repairs. GS was GREAT, they sent a tow truck right away and followed up that we were satisfied and OK. Will definitely stay with them.

When looking for a roadside service provider I went to most of the Local Towing services in our hometown and asked then which service they preferred in terms of speedy payment ,Etc. Most of them are used by all the major providers. we have had good service from every provider we have used except coachnet.
Location as stated is the determining factor as is weather conditions.

We've had Good Sam since the beginning of having a Montana. Had a problem with a tire blowout(no not Marabombs but older tires that has started to dryrot). Luckily, we didn't do any damage to the side or wheel well. Called Good Sam and they dispatched a tow truck to change the tire within a half hour. Great service there. On the same trip had the converter go bad and Good Sam covered it also besides the $200 deductible. Have purchased a new 2013 unit and also have roadside coverage from that purchase so have double coverage at the present and luckily have not had to use either one but I highly recommend Good Sam!
