Trailer tire clearance on 09 3465SA

Upon Returning from RGV I find the fender on the left side has been damaged by the tires.

Turns out there is around an inch of clearance from tires to fender, and the trailer shifting during travel has allowed both tires to hit the fender and knock out the back 2 screws along with breaking a hunk out of the down piece between the tires.

The clearance on the right side is over 6 inches.

Waiting to hear from dealer and Montana as to what the fix for this may be.
Wondering if any one else has had this occur?

The left side fender also rubbed a little on our tires. Our dealer installed a brace to extend the fender out and then had plenty of clearance. The problem then was the brace was in the way of the wheel chock, so I made a new brace that arched up to allow enough room for the chock.

Could it be the axles are not centered on the trailer? You can measure from the frame to the tire on each side and tell.

From some previous threads similar to yours, Mudchief may have your problem pinpointed. Are tires wearing differently on one side of unit as to the other side? Get it to your dealer.
