I took the 5er to a local shop and they replaced my leaking O ring on the slide pump. It was a lot less than I was expecting and only took them less than 1/2 an hour.
All I have to do now is clean up the oily mess.
They also repacked the bearings and replaced the seals. One was leaking and caused a lot of squawking and squeeling when the brakes were applied. It didn't get to the shoes so we lucked out on that part.
Now for a new muffler on the truck and a couple of new tires and we will be ready for a nice warm winter.
