Rear stabilizers and stereo not working.
Buying a 2010 Mountaineer off my uncle. He was coming from New Mexico to Iowa and camped in a snowstorm. He noticed then that the rear stabilizers quit working. He brought it home and parked it. While showing the camper to me we discovered the stereo will also get no power. Unsure if they are related through a ground. I did pull the stereo out and the inline fuse was good. The fuses at the panel were good. I haven’t got back over there again to see if a gfi popped or I hear there’s a factory reset on the volume button of the Jensen that you push with a safety pin ?

Welcome to the forum
I would take a volt meter and make certain you actually have power. Check your battery first then panel and finally at the radio.
Does all the rest of your 12 volt devices and lights work?

If the radio is in a slide, then 12vdc for the radio will come out at the bottom rear of that slide and go back into the side rear of the chassis area.

You don't have GFI's 12 volt power supply's you may have a circuit breaker not working or a fuse problem but you to get a volt meter like James said and start at the battery and work your way back from there they should not be on the same fuse or circuit breaker unless it at the battery what else don't work that is 12 volt.

I will do that when I get back that way. Super excited. First fifth wheel. Had a pull behind for a few years. I’m getting such a good deal to.

Ditto what Bob said.
Its a long shot but have you looked to see if there is a battery disconnect that is turned off? Typically the landing gear and sometimes the slides will be tied directly to the battery but everything else should run thru the disconnect.
Congrats on the new rig. It is always exciting starting off. You can always expect a few minor issues on even a new rig. Anyone that owns one either has a pocket full of money for a repair shop or learns to work on them pretty quick. Not much different than keeping a house up actually.

Thank you guys. It’s still at my uncles. I don’t have my Truck yet. Got my eye on one. I’m so new that I’m still learning what runs on 12 V and what don’t but it seems that everything else is working. Took the slides in and out several times and had the awning out. Tv’s on and exhaust fans. The radio is in a slide.

Rear stabilizers from that time period had a known problem with the motor. If you find the problem is the motor they never sealed the motor where the wires went in so, over time, the motor would bite it.
