Wrong Key used- now stuck

We have a 2015 Montana, daughter went to lock the bottom lock, the key turned halfway, when she tried to turn it back it won't and now we can't get it out. Ok, just found out she used the wrong key to lock it. Help?

I would try pushing the door in some and trying the key again. If not successful, call a locksmith.

You don't say if you can still get inside, but if you can, it might be easier to just get a new door lock/handle assembly with new keys and replace it. Our inside latch broke off last year, with Becky inside and me in the truck waiting, and she didn't have her cell phone with her. Glad I wasn't able to hear what she was saying, but I understand it wasn't pretty. She was finally able to get her composure back, and was able to use a key to slide the bolt open to get the door open. These pot metal door locks only have so many open and close cycles before they fail, so it wouldn't be a bad thing to replace it.

Oh my! I think I would be like your wife in that situation! Thank goodness we have two doors and that makes me think to always keep a toolbox inside as well, just in case! Thanks for sharing!

A new lock would be cheaper than a locksmith call.
