Sad Day

We had to put our 17 year old cat, Suni, down today. Never an easy thing to do; I know as I have had to do it many times before. Cathy brought him home from the Vet clinic she worked at 17 years ago. About 5 years after we had him he got his leg stuck in Sam's kennel and broke it clean in half. He had surgery to set it with external wires and screws. We had to limit his movement so I stayed in our spare bedroom with him for a month until he could get around. I guess you could say we really bonded at that time. I know they don't last forever but the hurt is heavy none the less. He travelled with us the whole time we were fulltiming and visited the same 44 states we did.

To say he will be missed is an understatement.

Goodbye Suni, RIP

Just went thru that with one that was very old. Sorry for your pain, they are truly a member of the family.

So sorry to hear this Phil & Cathy.
These animals are part of our family and it's so hard to let them go.
We lost the last of our two Labs last October and I still miss them.
RIP Suni.

Phil and Cathy,
We are so sorry to learn of your loss. It is never easy and is even worse when an "extra special" pet leaves us. Dennis and Mary Kay

It's never easy to put an animal down. You loose a family member and best friend at the same time. My wife and I have known the pain and the emptiness you are feeling. We are so very sorry for your loss.

Remember the good times, and how much love and caring you gave Suni, he knew how much you cared for him. I am sitting in my chair with Rowdy on my lap, he has the 'old cat' problems, so we know he has not long to be with us. They are family, I know how you guys feel. So sorry.

Phil and Cathy,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of loss. We know unfortunately from our own loss with Boomer that our "kids" come to rely on us and give us unconditional love in return.

I am sure Suni appreciated everything you did for him.

Regards,

Les and Sue

Sorry for your loss. We too have been thru the loss of our dear pets. We just found out yesterday our daughter's Brittany has congestive heart failure. She too may be making a decision soon.

Very tough to lose a loved one... pet or human.
They are very much like our children.
I like to think we will meet again and spend the rest of eternity together. THAT would truly be heaven.
Try to think of all the good years you had together.

It's been a bad couple of months recently for many I know who have had to make the tough decisions about their animals. How unfortunate this has happened to many of you, but it'll be one huge party at the pet pearly gates!

It doesn't take long for the buggers to get under your skin. It hurts when they go. We can empathize with you grief. "Suni" sounds like a name defining the sunshine that was brought to you in caring for her.

We are very sorry about Suni, Phil and Cathy. Unfortunately we just went through this last week with our Sophie so we know all too well the pain you are going through at this time. I am so glad you had so many years together with your little friend.

Phil & Cathy,
So sorry for your loss! Our fur-babies are very important in our lives and I know it is hard to loose them! Our thoughts and prayers are with you! And remember he has crossed the Rainbow Bridge and is with lots of others that have gone before him and they wait for us there!
