Mountaineer 347 THT furnace access

Hi all,
Our Mountaineer 347 THT (toy hauler) has the furnace located under the kitchen drawers on the curb side. I can remove the return air vent and see the electrical wiring and gas connection but they are on the opposite side---the front of the garage wall. I would like to do simple maintenance (cleaning-adjusting flame, etc). As I see it, I either have to remove the furnace through the return air opening or cut an access in the front of the garage wall.
Any hints or suggestions?
Also, I would like to "Y" off from the furnace to provide a warm air vent to the garage (since there is no duct to the garage area). I would use a grate with adjustable door so I could control the amount of warm air flowing into the garage.
Thanks, Darrell
