Container info

I thought I would post pictures of some of the neat and imaginative containers we have come across.
With this hobby, we have been to places here we would never have seen. It's like the hobby is our tour guide, people visit neat areas, hide caches and bring us to them. I am so glad we took this up, we have never enjoyed an area so much...ever.
One simple hunt took us just about 1/2 block or so off the back-road, we went over the hill and there was the most awesome old giant cactus we have ever seen, the steel blue mountain in the background. Just beautiful. There have been many such places we have visited.

Here is the slide-show:

some of the hides get really tricky too! We found one that was hidden inside a large metal gate post. You had to remove the top cap of the post and the cache was dangling from a wire attached to the inside of the cap.

Another was sitting next to a park bench made from treated lumber and the cache was inside a hollowed out 4x4 post that looked exactly like the posts for the bench. I swear I looked and looked and looked, finaly touched all the posts and that one moved, otherwise would have never found it!

Best advice is to look for anything that does not belong or looks disturbed, use all your senses and you will find most of what you seek
