We're in Banff, Alberta

We are camped at Tunnel Mt. RV Village in beautiful Banff. The scenery is beyond words. The weather continues to be beautiful and even the mosquitoes are not a problem. There are mountains all around us and they are more rugged and rocky than any we've seen. Truly God's handiwork is amazing. It was 45 degrees this morning. I'm dressed in a turtleneck shirt, sweatshirt, and jeans and grab my jacket to go outside. The locals are jogging in their shorts and tank tops. What's wrong with these people??

We have more pictures on our blog http://bamatravelers.blogspot.com
Be sure to scroll down to see the elk.

Traveling in Canada has been very pleasant. The scenery is beautiful and the people are very courteous. We're having a great time and the Monty is performing well. Wish you were here! Put Banff on your list of places to visit. It's awesome.

Judy-
You are right when you say that the area is truly God's country. We have been there twice and could see enough both times. One thing you don't want to miss is the drive from Lake Louise to Jasper, you won't reget making the miles.

Judy: I am so envious. We did Banff, Calgary and Edmonton last summer. You can see some of our pictures on our webshort site, and you'll recognize some of the same pictures that you have now taken.

Maybe next summer we will get to see alaska, so we're looking forward to seeing your pictures as they "develop"

Be safe and enjoy.

Charlie, we drove up the road through Bow Valley to Lake Louise this afternoon. We saw two elks grazing right by the road. It is unbelieveable. Tomorrow we'll drive through the Icefields as we are heading for Jasper and then Grand Prairie. The scenery is beyond description.

Thanks for the good wishes, Sharon. Nice new picture of your rig.
