alot of Montys out there
We drove from Pittsburgh to Venice Fla two weeks ago and to pass the time I was counting Montanas on the way down. We saw 38 over 3 days. We also saw a few at campgrounds. No MOC bumper stickers though. It would be good if more of these folks would join the club

kdeiss,
We were on the Natchez Trace Parkway the other day, we pulled off to a small campground for the night, we were about the last rig in, about 18 campsites. Of these 1 was empty and counting ourselves there were FOUR Montana's!
Last night in Louisville, I also counted at least 4, but this was a much larger campground.
Sure see a lot of them out there.
Carol

I drive I80 a lot in eastern NE and western IA. I see a lot of Montanas and Mountaineers being towed west--a lot seem to be on their way to dealer as the TV has a sign on the side with the name of some towing company. Makes me wonder who the new owner is going to be. It was because of the number I saw that made us look at Monty's--I figured as many as I saw they must be special.

Paul and Jan, I don't believe I've ever heard your reason for looking at Montana before! But it sure makes good sense!

On our trip to Savannah and Jacksonville we saw more Montys than every before. Guess they really are the number one seller.

I wonder what we can do to get more of these people in the MOC?

I tell every Montana owner that I have met at RV parks. About the "Montana Owners Club." I hope this will bring in more members.

We made up some "business" cards to hand out to folks we meet, especially if they're someone we want to keep in touch with. Next time I run a batch, I think I'll add the web address for this forum so those with Montys can look it up.

We have used the "Business Card" for a long time now. Problem is that a lot of folk may have the excellent taste to adopt a Monty but they are either not computer-literate or just plain can't be bothered to get involved with the MOC. I guess they just will never know what they are missing!

We also have the business cards with the MOC address on it. We hand it out to Montana owners we see (did one today) and have been known to leave a card in the door or under a winshield wiper, with the moc url circled and a note on the back. I have no idea if any of those folks ever joined us.
