slide opening

we have problem with our bedroom slide opening on the bottom. our montana is an '04 with bedroom and living room slides. we usually leave the frozen u.p. of michigan around the end of jan. for florida, but this year because of a shrinking 401k have decided to take a year off. I parked my trailer and while checking it after a couple of weeks, noticed the bedroom slide was out 3 or 4 inches on the bottom. the top was still closed. has never happened before and i was wondering if anyone has any idea of causes for this problem.

I would push the "in" button and if it brought the bottom in, then check on it to see if it drifted out again.
