removing tv
How do we get the tv out in the 2005 model 3295? I can't budge it and I do not see any screws to loosen it for removal. I want to replace it with a HDTV soon.

If you have the fire place it has to be removed. Remove the four wooden plugs and then the screws to gain access to the main frame for the fireplace. There are two screws from the top of the fireplace into the bottom of the TV.
Up top there is a screw from the center speaker into the top of the TV. That is what is on my 07. I hope this helps.
Let us know.

We have a 2955 which I'm sure is different, but we had two from the bottom, & one from the side wall. I do know this, I would have never put screws through TVs like they did.
Good luck!

On the 2955, I have a 2007 built in Aug 2006, The TV is HEAVY and they made the cables SHORT. I suggest you have some one to help either hold the TV, or unhook the cables while you hold it. Doesn't take much to pull out a cable or break something if the TV slips. Sedwheathome is correct, 2 screws from the bottom and one on the side. The side one has the cap over it on the wall, that you need to pull off first.

Thanks for the input on the 2955. And yes, I will need someone to help lift it out. My body is made for a lot of things, but not lifting things that I have to look up to reach.
Thanks Lou

I have removed my TV from my 2005 3295rk,to do this you have to remove the grill from the fireplace (four screws),then you will see two screws that go up to the bottom of the TV into the case of the TV.Then you have to go up to the doors above the TV,in the middle you will see a little button above the middle speaker, remove this and the speaker will come out and under were the speaker was you will see a screw, that screw goes down into the top of the TV case. Now you should be able to remove the TV.If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me.
