System Monitor 101

Been trying to understand what is a-miss with my Grey/Black tank level sensor's. Been in there 3x trying to figure it out...I think I'm on to something here;
I thought is was as others had suggested that debris were triggering bogus reading...I just installed this new flush nozzle which sprays right across my probes...pic of new install;

Googled the Monitor Mfr to better understand if I'm battling a component issue or an install issue....
*KIB Enterprises (Mfr of monitor system) requires the Ground (White) lead probe be located "Minimum of 10 inches from each of the level probes...seems these two tanks are configured to be about 3.5 inches from the 1/3 full probe and progresses past the 2/3 full probe to 8 inches at the full probe!!!
Here's the schematic from KIB

Here's a picture just in case you think I'm making this up...

Summary speculation to be confirmed;
*Initial "Used Unit" purchase from Dealer who replaced the Monitor panel as it was "missing" during our PDI.
*Always showed at least 2/3 full even when nothing comes out drain for either tank!!
*Current measurements between probes puts the furthest distance (Full Probe) at about 8 inches!!!

***This suggests whomever installed these probes has not been trained properly???
Pending System Monitor 102 class...once I find 2 new probes so I can install them at the 10 inch spacing from the 1/3 full sensor to see if its all fixed up!

They pay more Than Min wage,,The problem is training of the employee by the manufacturer and the fact that the consumer accepts poor quality as "part of Rv'ing"

Ok, we ordered and recently received new probes. I installed one in each of the problem tanks to relocate the "white" lead a minimum of 10 inches from the "yellow" 1/3 level probe. Low and behold now the tanks are reading differently, grey tank reads empty and black tank shows 1/3 level which is expected as we leave some fluid in there.
Will know more after next trip leaving next Friday for East Falmouth, Ma... http://www.capecampresort.com/
