Wheel Lugs on 3280RL Big Sky

When we purchased the 2000 Big Sky all the paper work said "8 Lug wheels" don't know why I misssed it but they are 6 lug. I recently looked into doing Disc brakes and they say Al-Ko 8000 Lb axles are 8 lug. Mine are 6. Any Reason. I e-mailed Montana but that is a joke.

Try calling them. They're pretty responsive when you call.

If I recall some of the earlier models did come through with 6 lugs but don't count to heavily on my remembering, after all I am the local president of the CRS club.

As Steve said, "Try calling them" I have found they respond much quicker to phone calls than they do to email. Call them at (574) 535-2100 and ask for customer service.

You might want to crawl underneath the rig and record what is on the axle "tag" (a metal band, like a bracelet, on each axle). Then call Al-Ko and ask them what the story is. The number is in your Owner's Manual, or will be given to you by Keystone Customer Service. They will probably refer you to Al-Ko anyow. I don't have the Al-Ko number handy...we are not at the rig this evening.

As an aside, I've found it lots easier and qicker to call Keystone rather than writing them an e-mail...quicker, and a certain response.

Best.
