My 2nd post here. I am a long time camper and enjoy talking with fellow rv'ers. I am not a Montana owner but know a good many. I am retired and my wife is mostly retired. We camp at least a week of every month and take several extended trips a year.

Greetings to everyone,

My name is Louie and my wife is Somsri. We are moving from Alaska to Austin Texas. I am a pilot and she is an accountant. We are going to try and go full time for the next year or two until we find a home or burnout on the full time thing.

My wife and I purchased a New 2007 Montana 3400RL. When I say new I mean it was used three times and put in storage.

I will be on the road 15 plus days a month and she will commute back and forth to Alaska for awhile. So here are my questions.

1.What type of second A/C unit is the best to get?
2. Can anyone reccomend a good washer/dryer set up.
3. Generator ? gas, diesel,or LP..... Or should I get a couple of hondas and leave them in the back of the truck ?
4. We have a 2003 F-250 with a 7.3 engine. does my truck have enough suspension to pull my 3400RL ? If not do I need air bags or extra leave spring. Or both.

Nice to be here amongst you.

Thank you for your help and suggestions.

Respectfully,

Louie

Just a suggestion Louie, but you may want to start a new thread, maybe in general discussions, with your information and questions. You'll probably get a better response
