Been Here one Year

Today is the one year anniversary of the date I found this forum. I can't believe all that has happened to us in that one year. We had just finally graduated our youngest from college (at 30). We bought the fifth of our dreams - Montana - that we had lusted over for four or five years. We saw our oldest daughter who had been a single parent for 18 years marry a wonderful guy. We took several train trips. We went on a cruise to Alaska, another dream of ours. We went to the MOC Western Rally and met so many wonderful people. We retired. And now we have the truck of our dreams. One Great Year. And we have made so many friends on this great forum, learned a lot even though we've been RVing for many years, and laughed a lot. Thank all of you and mostly the administrators who sponsor this forum.
Happy trails........................

Hemet is in Southern California in a valley below the San Jacinto mountains. On the other side of the mountain is Palm springs. We are about 80 miles north of San Diego. It is a pretty little valley basically surrounded by mountains. We are right at the base of the SJ mountain so have a beautiful view. It gets hot here in the summer but not as bad as Palm Springs. My Mother lives here and one of our daughters and all of the grandchildren.

They say "Time flys when you are having fun". Well from the sound of your post it must have been like being on a supersonic transport.

The profile has "member since" on it. When I was adding our new truck to our profile I noticed the date. Yours is Nov. 6, 2002.

Thanks Steve. I finally got the purple stars back. On the old system purple was at 100 I think and since purple is my favorite color (I'm known as the purple lady) I was thrilled. It has taken a long time to get them again.
Happy trails....................

Congratulations Sue on having such a great year. It is so nice to see folks enjoying themselves so much.

We attended the Escapade in Imperial this past spring. We then stayed a few days in the Anza Borrego SP area. From there we came across to I-15. We stayed at the Escapees park just west of Aguanga. So I guess we were a little south of your area. Even though we have lived in CA most of our lives we had never been to this part of the state. It is very nice. I could not believe how much growth is going on! Explosive is an understatement.

Keep enjoying the forum and see you in Reno! Sure glad you folks are coming.
