New to MOC

We have been Montana owners since 2/2000. Recently had a problem with the frame and in researching Montanas found this forum. Wish I had known about it before. Looks like lots of great information.
We have pulled our Montana 3280 across the country twice, into Mexico and around the west coast extensively. We have enjoyed our Montana 3280.

Welcome to the forum. Make note of the campout scheduled at Mt. Shasta for Memorial Day weekend. Hope you are able attend.

Welcome to the MOC, TomsRV! I hope you find it useful to you.

On the frame issue, did you get it fixed? Some of the 2000 models and earlier did have a frame problem. Based on the MOC members who have had this fixed, the fix is excellent. If you haven't already, call Keystone and ask about the fix. You'll need the VIN. They have been fixing these free of charge despite being out of warranty although I cannot say they are still doing this. Wouldn't hurt to check. Their number is (574) 535-2100. Ask for customer service.

Good luck.

With all your Montana experience you will be a great help to the rest of us with so much less time in grade. I'll bet you have found your way through knot holes the rest of us haven't even thought about. We will be looking forward to your post in the future. The frame topic on 2002 models and older has been well documented and discussed on the forum, so you might want to use the search engine to research it. We, too, are glad you found us.

Tom,

Welcome to the group. I was born many years ago just south of you in Tulare. I also have an early model Montana and the frame advisory was completed on it shortly after purchase. Never had a problem with it, but spoke with a Montana Rep at an RV show two days ago and now more fully understand the reason for the fix.

Consider joining us and other MOC members in Mt. Shasta over Memorial Day if you can. I believe we have 16 Rigs signed up now, and a check earlier this morning with the facility confirmed there were still sites available. For more info check the MOC Western Region heading.

Thank you, to all of you. I did not expect such a warm welcome. I'll check the schedule for Memorial Day and Mt. Shasta. As for the frame, still waiting on Keystone to respond to my email and followup telephone message, as well as the dealer's email to them. Will let you know how it turns out.
As for adventures, there have been a few. Will save them for a get together in, hopefully, the near future.

Tom, Keystone can be slow responding to emails. Your best best is to call them and give them the VIN.
(574) 535-2100 and ask for customer service.
