Yes Steve maybe next winter. John& Donna were asking us when we were coming next season & told them just as quick after Labor Day as I could get Faye loaded up. But she said not until mid Dec. WE came up thru Houston on Hiway 59. Not sure how close that is to your home. We were traveling with another couple though. This time maybe not next year.

When you folks were traveling North on 59 out of Houston, and crossed over 1960 at Humble, you were about 15 miles East of us. See there, we keep getting closer and closer LOL.

Great Steve,

Give us a ring when you get in, if you are not tooooooo tired. Looking forward to Monday, I have to call the restaurant again. Will do that today.

Carol

All are invited to the Stevens' rig AFTER the gathering at Golden Coral, see us there for details.

Sure wish we could join you guys -- but........!! We are now in Casa Grande, Arizona until Sunday then will start heading up to British Columbia. Hope to be up there early April.

Safe travels to everyone -- we may be in the Rio Grande area again next year and look forward to seeing everyone again.

Boy, oh, boy. Here I am sittin' in Albuquerque thinkin' I should be in the valley where all the action is! Sounds like next year we will have to stay in Donna, Tx a tad longer to partake in all the festivities. Have a great time and our warmest regards to everyone. Wish we were with you.

Carol - Interesting about the snow here -- most of it melted within a day or two - you would never know we have had five inches of the fluffy stuff two days ago! Sun comes out and heats things up in a hurry. Golly gee, if it worked like this in Wisconsin or Michigan, we wouldn't have to head south for the winter!!!!

We are setting around figuring out what/where we want to go today. We did Camping World yesterday, you have to do that even if you just pass by.

Steve,

Hear the Bentsen State Park is real nice, have yet to make it, something keeps getting in the schedule that knocks it off.

OH, and tomorrow, Monday, March 21, is Winter Texan Appreciation Day in Progreso Mexico, supposed to be BIGGGGG doings. They told us you better get there real early tho, as the parking lots fill up very quickly. OH, and tomorrow is MOC day in Weslaco! HA HA, you knew that!

Cheers

Carol

Anyone who might be dropping by after our meal at Golden Coral tomorrow, please bring lawn chairs. I figure we will all be too full to need food, but will have the beer cold and I have a variety of diet soft drinks and coffee available. If your choice of beverage is not on my short list, please feel free to bring your own!
