New MOC members
My wife and I purchased a new 2004 3295rk in may this year. We live in Colorado and went to Elkart Indiana to pick it up. We ordered it with most all options including the gell coat. Installed a 5500 watt Onan, Trailair pin box and air ride suppension when we got it home. Towing with a 2003 Ford superduty F350 dually 6 liter automatic. Only pulled it about 5500 miles this summer, but are looking forward to retirement next year. Our travel companion is a 1 1/2 year old cocker spanial named Clhoe. We also have two grandchildren that like to go, but Clhoe always comes along. We have had several travel trailers and this is our second fifth wheel. So far the Montana is great. We had very few problems and with our dealer 1200 miles away I make most all repairs and upgrades. Look forward to being a member of the MOC.

Welcome to the MOC Forum. It sounds like you have broad experience and will be able to use it to help the rest of us. I know you will like the Monty. IMHO it is the best "bang for the buck" going. Look forward to your posts and hearing of your adventures.

Welcome aboard, Chloemakes3! Great choice in Montana and truck, too! We also have the 3295RK and love it! We've towed it to both sides of the country about 3 1/2 times and still love this one. We towed most of that with a truck the same as yours but non-dually. In our opinion, you made great choices. Hope you get lots more enjoyment out of the rig.

Dear Clhoemakes3,
Congratulations on your 3295RK; we got our 2005 3295RK in June; according to the dealer, his invoice stated it was a 2004. When we aggreed on a price, came to find out it was an 05. This is our 1st 5er, but had 3 TT's prior. Wished I had decided on a 5er much sooner.
Hope you enjoy yours as well as we love ours.
Gary

Joe and Merillee, I forgot to mention you should be able to get warranty work from a dealer closer to you. Some dealers only work on those they sell but many will take on warranty work even though they didn't sell the rig to you. They might not be as good about working on those little nuisance things you find in the first few trips so it's probably good you can take care of those yourself.
Again, welcome aboard and congratulations on the new Montana. I see you're from Arvada, nice and close to a Camping World! We spent October, 2003, next door in Golden, and have cousins in Littleton and Parker.
