A New 3400 Has Been Born
Wouldn't you know, we are in Wisconsin celebrating a birthday and we called our answering machine at home and we had a message that said "your new Montana has arrived". We are so excited!! We will literally be flying home to Kansas in our car to visit our new toy.

Coleen & Ray..You read a lot about things going wrong with folks campers and you will se a lot from me..However..Our 3400 delivered in May of 06 came off the dealers lot, sfter a pre-pdi and a in depth PDI with No major or minor problems at all. We still have had no major or minor problems..The issues are those pesky workmanship issueds that are industry wide and can be expected in any brand. The openness of this forum will allow you to address those issues. I had made a list, at the time, of 36 issues that I copied from this forum that we figured we would have to address. Some were corrected on the PDI others we knew what to look for( loose screws in Cabinet doors, defective Apollo oven handle) and corrected them before they failed. We are still having fun turning a 3400 into our 3400.. Have fun..

Well howdy Coleen from a Colleen that has a new 3400 as well. We are planning our second short RV trip this weekend to test all of the gadgets and get to know our new home away from home.
Wishing you lots of fun filled days in your new purchase.
Now get out there and enjoy.

Thank you for all of the welcomes and we couldn't wait to get home to our new Montana. We left Milwaukee and drove 700 miles in about 13 hours straight. We waved at the folks in Topeka (did you see us flying by)and of course our RV dealer at 4-Seasons was already closed by the time we got home. Well...we finally got to see our new home today and boy were we surprised! Our salesman called and told us we had a "Little change" in our RV..but wouldn't tell us on the phone. He wanted to surprise us. Oh my gosh, they have changed the carpeting in the 3400RL! It wasn't the standard goldish, beigeish and we were the first to get it in our area. Our color is the Sapphire and the carpeting is sorta greyish, blueish and brownish mixed. Our sales rep had fun showing it off to all of the other sales people. He said it must be a new color from the factory and it certainly won't show the dirt! So all of you future 3400RL guys, be prepared for a new color change. Our PDI is scheduled for this Tuesday and two days of camper school in their campground. We may be ready for our first road trip...to Goshen. Still sorting, packing, selling, selling and more sales. If we show up at the Rally only half packed please forgive us..lol. Sorry so long but wanted to keep everyone informed of the progress. Coleen and Ray Lustick

Coleen & Ray, Congrats on your new baby! The new carpet color sounds really pretty! There is an RV show this weekend I think in Atlanta. We're tempted to go, but with all the new stuff, and we just got our new 3000RK last September, I'm afraid to go look! LOL Hope y'all have many fun adventures in your Montana. Be safe and remember to flash your lights on the road!!

Congratulations, Coleen and Ray! Our first Montana was from Four Seasons. Good dealership.
See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!

Sue I took a few pictures but didn't think to take one of the floor. Will take some more on Tuesday after our PDI. Plus we are still trying to get one posted on the forum. Let me know if this one looks ok. Coleen & Ray
