Thank you my friends for all of the congratulary comments, yes we are very excited about our new rig and many things in life right now, thanks again and may God Bless you, each and every one. I sincerely hope that some day there will be a summertime rally (when school is out) that we can get to, so we can meet all of you folks.

Congrats a Lot. When we get over that way to visit the daughter, we will keep our eyes open for you. I take it "OLD GI" is just a good handle (a really good one). Enjoy the UNIT.

Way to go!
Glad the dealership is great for you. Get them to do a thorough walk through, I know you've been taking notes!

Did a good PDI with a technician, retired Navy, he was a straight shooter and answered every question and concern, if you ever get to Suncoast RV in Cocoa, ask for Chris, he knows what he's doing. This Friday she gets her trial run in the campground, the boss lady has been over every inch of that unit inside and out, she found a few little glitches but nothing worth getting excited about, mostly minor trim stuff. Ozz, did you find the other hiding place in the bedroom other than the key rack. Chris showed us one that he found by accident. Neat too. Got the blue ox bedsaver installed, my son hopped in the bed and had it on in a few minutes. I owe him a beer and BBQ.

Congratulations, Pete! How did the first cruise go?
Besides the key rack / necklace rack on the side of the window there's another "hideyhole" on top of the window surround. That's it as far as I know.

We had to show our PDI guy where the hiding places in the BR window were.
*On Edit~ Ozz, you shouldn't need too many hidy places. Don't you have an electronic defensive force field around your Monty?
That probably gave you some ideas, now...
Actually, I just got some ideas...

Ok friends and neighbors, and you too Lou. First let me say that the trip would not have been possible if not for Lou (aka LGM) Lou was my salesperson at Suncoast RV in Cocoa, and he did a great job. We hooked up on Friday the 13th and headed for longpoint park, 1/2 mile north of the Sebastian Inlet on US1, South Melbourne Beach. I felt very secure, the Monty pulled beautifully, got in and backed into my slot without a hitch, did I mention that we installed the bedsaver the day before we left?, no? well we did and it was a good thing because I pulled an Ozz. Had to put some blocks under the right wheels because of uneven ground and my air levelers had not arrived as they were supposed to, I put my wheel chock in between the wheels but I guess I didn't tighten 1t enough so we put the legs down and it was going so smooth, I pulled the release for the hitch and THERE SHE WENT, right into the bedsaver. That was the best $195.00 I ever spent believe me. From there on out everything went great. The unit is perfect, the only thing that failed was the little flashlight, but we found a loose wire in the drawer space behind the charger so it's an easy fix. Our camping neighbors said that they like the look of the unit so we invited them in for a tour, the wife said, that's it we need a new camper. Lesson learned, chock both wheels tightly before relelasing hitch, and maybe don't push it by travelling on Friday the 13th, but I can say for sure that the bedsaver by Blue Ox is worth every penny.
