Storage on basement slider tray
We just discovered that the Sterlite 28Q/27L plastic bin fits perfectly on the slider tray. You can stack two of them there. They are only about 5 inches high but will be great for bungee cords, clothes lines, etc. Just wanted to share our "find".

We use the fold up storage trays that are a little bigger than the milk carton containers. When not in use..fold them up and put them away.

Those would work well, too. The Sterlites are as deep but they do have covers, if that is what a person might like. They're stackable. There's room for two, possibly three on our tray.

Thanks for the great tips. I just saw some class A rv with a sliding tray for storage. Really looked neat.

Thanks for the tip. We have the sliding tray in the basement and I have been thinking about how to organize it more effetively.

Our Monty is turning into one big plastic bin , at least inside. I find that I get so much more storage and organization when I put our 'stuff' in plastic bins. It allows you to go upwards in a cabinet or area that usually would have empty space at the top. We just removed one of our recliners for our trip to Alaska so that we can put our wire doggie cage in the living room rather than under our little desk. So now I've put long narrow plastic bins behind her cage for storing my sewing stuff. Every little bit counts.
Glad it was a hint that you might use, Stiles.

I love these computers but senility is tough. We were trying to find a solution to reducing the picture but still enjoy the granddaughters. Sorry about that double whammy. Wasn't too painful, I hope.

I was using a reduction program that I downloaded and it was before I posted it to the web. Just haven't gotten the right mix yet. Grandma does like to brag on those two sweeties and my favorite grandson.

OH, Judy, you can reduce the DPI and the SIZE of the image, they can be two different numbers. And getting the right mix sure can be a learning curve situation, aka, FRUSTRATING!
You just keep on braggin on them grandkids! We don't mind!

We also are full of plastic tubs. They are in all of our overhead cupboards and in the closet. Also in the slide out tray in the basement, in the basrement and in the front storage. Also under the island. Isn't plastic wonderful!

Plastic is wonderful. Especially since the first rule for living in an RV is "a place for everything". One of the things that I enjoy is that I can keep our stuff in some manner of order much easier than a 2400 sq ft house. It's also a challenge to see how much you can take along without stuffing all the cupboards. There's a wealth of storage ideas out there nowadays.
