Washer/Dryer Vent

We have a 2008 model 3075 which is washer/dryer preped. The prep area is in the front street side corner. The Spendide unit we wish to install needs to be vented but there is no information available regarding where the vent can be installed through the side wall. Keystone is not very helpful in providing an answer.

If anyone has installed a vented unit would you please let us know how you can determine a safe spot to install the vent.

Sorry if this has been discussed before and I did not find the information.

Thanks for any help.

Dean & Diane Nelson

Dean, go out and look at it in the early morning dew. You will see the vertical aluminum support studs. Just cut between them, there is nothing in the side walls except foam.
You can double check with a good wall stud finder also.

Dn, check in the front right corner "cubby hole"just past the faucets/drain on the right wall. If memory serves me right , I saw a sticker that said "vent here". I have a 3000rk,They might be the same setup. Bill

So far, every one that was w/d prepped had that sticker on the wall where you put the vent. If the sticker was inadvertenly left off, go back to your dealer and look at another front install w/d and see where the sticker is. If the dealer is too far away, go Ozzs way, it's shorter and probably more accurate. That should give you the WALL location, the vent in the dryer will give you the height location.
Our 3280 has a mid w/d location, but the sticker was there showing which wall to put the hole.
By the way, it gives you a funny feeling drilling such a big hole in the side of your Montana, but you'll get over it the first time you use the w/d.
Just remember, measure three times before drilling once, or the vent could come out under the awning arm.
