Replacement thermostat reconmendations

We need to replace our Dometic thermostat It switches to heat pump from furnace when adjusting temp Talked with dealer ( this is under warranty by the way) and service tech said they can replace but there is a good chance we will have the same issues, so they will suggest a different type

Anyone have suggestions ??

Many members have posted that when having a problem with the newer style Dometic thermostats that they contacted Dometic and the company sent replacements directly to them. Mine work ok.

Thank you yes, I have that as well, but when the dealer tells me there is a good chance the new one I get will act same as old, and they would recommend a a older style, " non touch type" , makes me nervous

I don't think the older non touch will work if you have a heat pump! The replacement thermostat is sposs to be better the OEM one. We haven't had any problems with are's.

This morning to carefully removed the cover, and now it reads on Celsius Lol
