73 and uprooting - into a 2014 375FLF

Washington State became too expensive (and crazy politics) for us to enjoy our normal standard of living. So we sold our home, bought 10 acres in Central Texas (Ag exempt land) and plan to build something. In the meantime, we bought a 2014 Montana Mountaineer 375FLF from the original owner. 3 days after setup, the 15,000btu AC quit blowing cold air. With 103 degree days, it becomes priority Number One. Getting it serviced or replaced would take weeks (called many places), so we opted to install a mini-split (since we don’t plan on moving the unit). Anyone ever done that? Installer is on his way - hoping to cool off tonight! Not many places on this rig to install the indoor fixture. Have to figure that out. Will be reading Archives to learn about maintenance, upgrades and how to operate things we have. Thanks to everyone who participates in these forums. Looking forward to engaging when I can offer anything.
