Hi everyone !

First post, 3rd 5th wheel. A month ago we traded our 2011 Keystone Sydney edition 325frs in on a gentle used 2016 Keystone Montana high country 374flr.
So far, we've just "camped" in the driveway. 1st thing, the king mattress sucked, so we bought a residential king since we had room for it. Been adding our custom touches like screen door handle bars, closing ceiling vents, roof vent covers, carpets on the steps, etc.
Everything works just fine. Furnace warms it nicely.
We plan on pulling it to Mexico in a few years, to live full time down there.
Probably start on Baja side because my wife and I fish, it looks like fishing is great.

Welcome.
Tell us about doing the RV hing in Mexico. This may not be the correct thread but it would be interesting.

We've been watching sooo many YouTube videos on everything from fishing, to visa's, to rv parks, insurance, vehicle tags, etc.
Rv spaces in many parks are decently cheap. They can be from under 300 a month, to over 500 for beach side. Electricity, is usually an extra bill. Vendors come through frequently with fresh fruits, and veggies.
Instead of a 6 month visa, you can get a year long. Vehicle, and medical insurance is very reasonable. Right now, gasoline seems to be having availability issues, due to pipelines being shut off, because of serious theft.
We are taking a Carnival Cruise, (number 4), on Febuary 23, for 7 days down to Cabo, malzeltan, and Puerto Vallarta.
Fishing is booked in Cabo, and rental cars on the main land. With the rentals, we can go see first hand, what we've watched, and if it's really somewhere we want to move to.
Soon much more to add....

Welcome we are in Mexico for the winter but not in the Montana.
We come to Cozumel never been to the other side.
You need to check and recheck the information you’re getting.
I would advise checking with the Mexico consulate? There are lots of hoops to get through if staying more than 6 months visitor and bringing vehicles.
Have Fun !

That was my dream, but the spousal unit nixed the idea. Yes, the fishing is awesome, especially down by the East Cape (Los Barriles). We did take a caravan down to Guerrero Negro and 'petted' the whales - definitely a must do. However, our Cedar Creek did not like the journey - at all. You might think about taking a caravan down to Los barriles/Los Cabos - it will give you an idea about traveling the baja. Here is the one I am looking at : http://www.bajaamigos.net/ . You can also google BAJA Blogs - to get some good info on heading south. buen viento y buena mar
