On my 207 3500RL Montana, I installed a PVC pipe across just behind the rear wheel. On the far end, I placed a open floor drain and at the open end placed a small chain with a cup hook to strap the hose end to the tube. The connection fitting extends out and the chain is placed across between the connection hooks to the cup hook. The reason I used a floor drain at one end was to let the hose (vent) air dry while traveling. It is much easier to work with a dry hose then a wet one. Also, having it open at both ends, you don't get any odors built up in hose or wet slug when pulling it out.

Many do not, but I love the sewer boom on ours. Never an issue with storage and I don't have to handle it much. What I like best is that when I pull up to dump, there is seldom more than 18" of hose pulled out. Push it back in and it's then easy to shoot a stream of water up the hose to flush it clean. I've done both ways and this is by far easier and more convenient for me.

I bought me a 6'' pvc pipe 10 ft long and cut it to i think 7' 10'' long and installed it across my rv behind my rear wheels.I installed 4'' guttering inside the pipe and can put a 15' sewer hose with fittings inside with no problem.I use a 6'' cap that slips on on each end and i use a short bungee strap and an eye bolt drilled and bolted in the middle of each cap to hold them on. I drilled holes across the bottom of the pipe to keep the odor down. I also carry a 10' sewer pipe in the factory tube as well.

I found the 5" x 5" x 8 ft. PVC sq tube for $25. at Lowes. Caps are about $2 each. I see a project in my future. I think the 4 x 4 tube in back will hold handles for wash pad.

When I went to hook up my sewer hose for the first I found a Valterra pipe holder screwed onto the frame right in front of the sewer hook up. My pipe doesn't fit in the bumper by about a quarter inch so I attached a Valtera pipe holder to the curb side frame also. Now all the pipe you need for Goshen is on board.

Thanks for the pictures. I did a search and setup the fence post similar to the pictures Carl posted. Get a lot of good ideas and know how from this forum.
Thanks
Steve

Sewer pipe storage
I bought the valterra storage pipe and put it on the side of the frame where keystone put the pitiful little spaghetti holder from the factory.
I thought about the fence post storage but DW wanted it painted black and it turned into a bigger job than I wanted to mess with. The valterra adjusted out to 9’ or 10’ and the mount was easy with self tapping screws.
Saw a video tour of a 2019 model from Haylett RV (??) and they are still installing the spaghetti holders as acceptable sewer pipe storage. Is anybody actually able to use those for sewer hose storage? It makes me think the keystone design engineers never camp in their products... “oh look - I had to use 3 sections of sewer hoses at this site...hmmm...where am I going to put these wet stinky hoses when I’m breaking camp. But wait I have this tiny skinny black thing here that no hose fits. I’ll just throw them in the back of the truck I guess.”

I looked at the hose compartment on our new rv & the diameter is big enough if I grind the cap down on one end but the hose is two feet to long. There have been times I had to hook two hoses together to reach the sewer connection. So even if I bought the 94" Valterra storage pipe it would only fit one hose. I think I'll just put the hoses in
a plastic tub with a lid & store the hoses in the front compartment. I always run some fresh water down the hose after dumping so it shouldn't be too stinky.

Valera hose storage
Follow up to my previous post...
The Valterra tube holds 3 sections of sewer hose - compressed and connected so I can pull out whatever I need. I have 2 more hoses in a plastic box in the storage compartment.

Maybe I'll buy some new sewer hose to replace The 10 year old hoses I've kept from rv to rv.

Where did you get the lid/latch for that pipe and what kind of pipe is it?

Valterra sewer hose storage
Here is a pic of the Valterra hose storage tube on my rig. I removed the stock little baby tube and installed the Valterra tube in the same location...

This is what I did. Added a door inside front wheel well on drivers side. Access to open area below floor in bottom of body.

sewer hose storage
Nice work Golfmedik.
I originally intended to do something just like this...I bought the PVC fence post and caps - until Co-Owner/Lead Inspector (DW!) started offering suggestions..."You are going to paint that thing black - right?"
I looked into the process for painting PVC, the cost of the paint, the prep and the hardware/hangers, etc. and decided I need to hit the easy button and go with the BLACK Valterra storage tube. Owner/Inspector approved the change.

Not to burst your bubble (or rationalization) but I removed the fence posts from my old 2955, sprayed them black with a rattle can from HD, and installed them on my 3700. No special prep other than cleaning them first. They have been installed almost 7 years and still look fine.
