Inverter for residential refrigerator Question ?

We have the residential refrigerator and an inverter for it while traveling. When we get landed and plugged in to electricity, should I be turning off the inverter or leave it on ????

Leave it on is fine. The inverter has auto shore line detect and will switch to shore power. if you lose shore power it will go back to your battery(ies) as a source

I leave mine running all the time. As jeffba says "The inverter has auto shore line detect and will switch to shore power. if you lose shore power it will go back to your battery(ies) as a source."

The problem with leaving it on is that if you are gone for a few days and the AC power fails, the inverter will draw power from the batteries....thus the batteries could be dead when you get back.
