Does your rear cap have a window? Mine does, seems it might be tricky. Actually, I just thought, its probably a straight shot down from the running light near the corner of the rig. Run a wire from there to the reverse light, and then from the center running light to the end, a 90degree shot. Damn, wish I thought of that earlier. Clarity when your not frustrated is a wonderful thing. Maybe ill attempt that at some point, but today. I was able to disconnect the camera from the interior light circuit, fished a new wire down from the center running light, and connected the camera to that. Still not to a revers light, but at least now its not constantly on, and will only come on when the running lights are on.
Complete that and my water filter install. Glad I had the PEX crimp tool, was nice to hard pipe the filter in

thanks, exactly, they just want to rush to the next job. My dealer is close, about 30 minutes away, but by the time I make an appointment, hook up, bring it, drop it off. Back home, then back to pick it up, blah blah, its just easier to do it myself, and probably better anyways..

You missed the part where they screwed something up that you didn't notice till you got home, then had to make another appointment to take it back in!

Looking to put a bu camera on my 07 monty. Any thoughts on Furrion FOS48 TAPK-BL? This model can be on all the time or just when bu depending on how I wire it.

The furrion I have works good now. comes in very clear. Does your Monty have revers lights?
If not, you will have to run a wire all the way to your 7 pin connector, there is a reverse trigger in there.
If you do have revers lights, then run the wire right to that, when the light comes on, it will activate your camera.
I ended up just re wiring mine to the running lights, when I back up, ill just turn the lights on first. That was an easy wire, because the camera is mounted about 4 inches below my center marker light on the rear end.

When our dealer installed our Voyager wireless system, I was asked how I wanted it to function. Since I use it as a rear-view mirror, I had them wire the power feed to the running lights. Camera is mounted above the window, wired to center runing light on the rig and I do run with the running lights on so the camera is on all the time. When parking in a back-in spot, I just turn the volume up and DW instructs through the built-in microphone while standing behind the rig. We had a wired system on the previous rig and prefer the wireless. Would not be without the system now as it is a tremendous aid during trips as well as backing.

Yopper that camera is the observation camera, it can be run all the time. Just find out how you want to power it, the easiest way would wire it to the running lights as Kozzy did.

Like Bingo we have always used our camera as a rear view mirror so it is wired always on.

I am having the same exact issues with my new 3790. It is also a Furrion camera. No image at all. Blue lights on on both camera and monitor, but still nothing. Even with running lights on.

I don't think they work that well, mine loses the signal all the time, the picture quality kind stinks too.
It was nice and clear when I finally got it working, but now that the signal cuts in and out, I never even bother with it
