2014 GMC Denali 3500HD

The truck is "home"! Signed the papers at McCormick Motors this forenoon and took delivery. I have a feeling this thing is going to be a lean mean pullin' machine!

Now, comes the fun of getting 'er set-up for the task ahead! Take it back to dealer tomorrow afternoon to have the mud guards and step bars mounted. For now, since the weather is crap, the bed will stay the way it is so, I can do it right, one step at a time.

Gee Dale now is the time for that NEW TRUCK to be pulling a NEW MONTE!

Update Dale! Didn't read the make and model till just now on the new truck! You got one SWEET RIDE there! If I didn't have the 2012 I'd be looking at the Denali also!

I will agree with you about your new truck. The truck is a fantastic towing vehicle. I know I still get a warm and fuzzy feeling when I hook up with mine. Congrats and enjoy.

Thank you, guys! The dealer installed the mud guards and step bars yesterday. Then, 4 of us got in it last evening and drove to Mishawaka, ate dinner and went on a small shopping spree. The 4 full sized doors are way nicer than the "clam shell" doors of an extended cab. Especially, in a parking lot situation.

Why do we all go shopping after spending 60,000 plus dollars? Lol

Just like buying a new RV, we start shopping even before we take delivery. You just have to get those items to make the new RV or TV yours.

Been readin' the owners manuals.....not manual.....manuals, on this new truck. Have confirmed that it is the LML turbo diesel according to the vin plate and the 8th digit in the number. Man-O-man! Can't wait to hook this thing up to the old Challenger!! Guess I'll add this to the signature.

Oh Tom, your "Swami" prediction is correct!
