Just when I thought I've seen it all....

I watched a Class A diesel pusher move sites today with all 4 of his slides open, as well as, the awnings. Pulled out of the site next to me and actually backed around a corner and into their new site. He did not hit anything thanks to his son-in-laws directing, but still... it was something to see.

That is on my list of things NEVER to do. If I ever get that lazy, just shoot me.

It does seem like one of those things that invites an endless number of bad endings and isn't that hard to do correctly.

My manual says not to do that due to weight imbalance issues...not to mention running into a tree!

Did this happen during or right after Happy Hour?

This took place roughly mid-afternoon. It's only 1/4 Million dollar Class A...I would have loved to hear what his excuse would have been to the insurance adjustor. Best part, the insurance company would have paid the claim, regardless of operators decision making ability.

But the rest of us with, that type of insurance, would help pay his bill with rising rates due to the companies experience.

My DW said I should have video it, and as usual she was right, but I think I was in shock, the park was crowded and see someone weaving thru with all the slides out kinda takes ya by surprise.
