Musical Group

Has any thought been given to forming a musical group within MOC similar to the Frustrated Maestros that FMCA has. They play for morning coffee hours and have Jam sessions at rallys. I am sure that we have some very talented musicians in our ranks.

Don't know that you want me. The only musical instrument that I can play is the radio and when I am in the shower the dog starts to howl.

We did have a small jam session at the Goshen rally this past September but other than Jen (FredG's signifcant other) and Terri (rames14's other half) I do not recall if anyone else participated.

Like DonandBonnie I also play a mean FM radio with a CD occasionally thrown in.

The only time I sound acceptable when it comes to singing is when there are dozens of other people singing at the same time. So let me know when you have a LARGE choral group assembled. LOL!!!

I'm a singer/musician. I made quite a good living from it years ago. But since my injury , I can't seem to bring myself to care about playing the guitar anymore...:-( I sure used to love singing around the campfire though...did that for almost 20 years. It sure would be fun to see everyone jammin'! :-) Jan

Connersmom -- I tried to email you but I got a reply that server was not accepting any more msgs -- so I apologize to everyone - don't want to hijack this thread but want to offer some help a fellow MOC member gave me months ago: to get your emoticons to show correctly - put them in square brackets -- for example put as '[ XX ]' where the XX is the colon and right brace. You now get . No spaces as far as I can tell. Took me a long time to figure this out (as I said earlier - actually a fellow MOC member told me after several months!).

God speed and be safe everyone.
