Big Sky

I have an oppurtunity to buy a 2005 Big Sky Montana for approx. $40000 and I was wondering if this is a good deal. It is loaded with darn near every option. Before you ask which options let me say there are too many to list here. This is my first posting so be gentle with your replys. thanks for any help you may have.

First welcome to the MOC. Second, without going into a lot of detail, $40,000 for a 2005 Big Sky is probably a bargain assuming that it is in excellent condition and has low mileage. Others may differ with me, but that is my opinion. Happy RVing.....

We also welcome you to the forum. My gut feeling is that you've got a good deal in the works.

golfer,
Might it happen to be a 3670RL? I am with Judy, "you've got a great deal in the works."

Golfer1: I just went out to the NADA site (www.nada.com) and, not knowing the options, just plugged in a few such as 10 gal water heater gas/elec w/DSI, power roof vent with rain senser, and power front jacks. In any case, according to NADA avg retail for base (?) unit is a little over 39K, with the few options I put in it goes up to $42,400. So, as a swag estimate I'd say you are getting a good deal. Again, it all depends on how it was used (mileage, wear and tear on interior and running gear, etc..)

Good luck and, no matter what you decide, welcome to the forum. If you pass this one up, keep on looking and reading. You have a lot of new friends on this forum who can assist you in what to look for and mods you might make after getting your unit to make it YOUR unit.
