Wheel bearings

Yep it has been beat to death, but I wanted to show my 2007 bearings and condition of the brakes and assembly
I was pleasantly surprised at how everything looked. I could have slapped the wheel back on, but figured I would do all of them. I am good with the brakes, they have some life left in them. I went to a great trailer place locally; Croft Trailer and got bearings, seals and all that stuff. Will work on them tomorrow weather permitting, supposed to rain
I'll see if the link works to pictures
I think I will fill the void full of grease and hand pack the bearings, got a bearing packer from Harbor Freight, see how that works.

I'm sure you've done this before, but don't see the need to waste grease to just cover the spindle area between the bearings, unless you plan on using the grease zerk to add grease in the future. I gave up using the grease gun early on after failed seals caused greased brakes, and decided a can of grease and four seals was much cheaper than replacing all the brakes. You must be real serious, getting the rig to travel again

Hello Ozz

85,000 miles on the trailer and 150,000 on TV.

Only E-Z-lub on the trailer and only had the hubs off to replace brake shoes and didn’t do anything to the bearings at that time..

No wheel bearing problems yet.

Hi Phil!
Wow, good service from them. I didn't know how they would look, but the first time I have checked the brakes and bearings from 2007 :0
Figured I would just change bearings and grease them. Good to hear from you.
