Split Bath Gray Tank
We have joined the ranks of the split tanks. Split is on bottom and only leaks when tank is at just about full capacity.
Immediate plan is to have the mobile tech come back and repair this. Oh yeah, and try to get my money back from the service center in Texarkana that failed to find this back in June. If they had done a simple fill test, it would have been obvious what was happening.
Ours apparently failed while we were sitting stationary in Texas. We rarely overfill the tank (I mean who likes to see stuff coming up into the shower, after all), so abuse of the tank is not an issue.
Will be researching to see if there are any options for replacement under warranty. which may be a bit of a stretch since our Montana is a 2010.
May give Keystone a call, too, just for giggles. Any info re: who to speak with - name, phone/extension - would be welcome. Not sure if they'd care that yet another tank failed.
Good news is we have an extended service plan and I can still use the shower in the meantime.
Cheers,
Betty

I chose to repair my galley grey myself if you remember reading the post. Thanks to ozz, I bought the right repair materials and repaired bottom crack as well as top seam leaks. Hope your mobile tech uses the right stuff... John

If you can't repair it yourself I am sure your extended warranty will replace the tank. I have had 2 tanks replaced on mine; the galley tank, under my ext. warranty and it is also a 2010.

Repaired the same on our 2005, using fiberglass repair kit and eternabond tank tape. Held for three following years til I traded it. Since you are covered by warranty, let them put in a new one for you

All four of our failed holding tanks failed while stationary on our Florida lot. We were told they failed because we overfilled them.
Yea right.....
