Found my leaks ....I think....

Found I had a leak in our big slide out, not something you want to have in Texas the past several weeks.... But I got up on the roof of the slide and started pulling up the Eternabond tape I put on 2 years ago. My tape was a B&%^h getting up but the tape the factory puts on came right up. My Eternabond could only attach to their tape on that side so it could not protect the seam since it is up against the edge on the outside. So I find that the factory does not put any caulking on the screws or that seam. several screws were rusty so water was getting in. Also 2 screws were not ever in the whole way. So I cleaned it up the best I could and put self leveling caulking on all the screws and seam... Once that is totally dried I will put Eternabond back on it. I also caulked around the 2 window with silicone caulking just in case. I don't see any place else it could leak. Keeping my fingers crossed, but now we are back to our drought so it could be awhile till I find out lol lol

I hope that took care of your leak. It is annoying when the manufacture does shoddy work and you get the unwanted bennifit of that crappy work. At least we can be happy that most of that work iat the factory is at least done correctly and we end up being happy with our units.
