I stayed at Ellsworth AFB last summer, it takes more than 2 weeks to see everything of interest around there

We have some friends(Bobby & Dawn) in the area, they are in a Lifestyle RV pulling it with a 2012 gray Dodge 3500. If you see them in your campground, stop by and say HI.

Myna and Bob-- I think John Kohl is somewhere up there. He may be across the border in Wyoming near Gillette also. Think he's headed for the Escapees Rally up there. Drop him a line!

Not in the area, but just some things to see and do.
Of course Mt. Rushmore, southern Hill tour to Custer State Park and Wind Cave (Coolidge summer White House and restaurant has good buffalo burgers), Adams museum in Deadwood (be sure to see the Thoen Stone)(great history, look me up in Goshen about this),deep cut at Homestake gold mine, great mineral and fossil museum at School of Mines in Rapid. Powder House outside Keystone used to be good place to eat, strawberry pie at Rushmore was fantastic, Canyon Lake club, Firehouse was good. Parkway cafe on North St. is great breakfast (short stack with bacon recommended. Used to be a Chinese restaurant in Deadwood called the Bon Ton that had a chair that said it was the only chair in Deadwood that Wild Bill Hickock wasn't shot in.

Enjoy.
