Ozz is needed in New Jersey!

Just watched the special on AC repair folks on Dateline NBC. They proported to have called six AC repair companies to come out and fix a woman's AC unit that they had totally inspected and then broke a wire so it wouldn't work correctly. All six were shown on hidden camera basically ripping the woman off. They should have called Ozz.

X2 on that....That is why we left....Gov. Christie is trying but it is like being a lawn sprinkler in a forest fire!

Unfortunately no matter where you go though there are unscrupulous folks that are looking to benefit from your misfortune.

That's the truth. Crooks aren't confined to any particular area. It is nice when you're very rural, however. If everyone knows everyone there isn't anyway for them to profit for long so they leave. When I was Mayor that was our policy with criminals. Arresting them, particularly drug dealers, only taught them how not to get caught next time. It seldom, if ever, got them off the street. The Mayor and or the Police Chief knocking on their door to recruit them for the local neighborhood watch, since we'd heard someone was dealing in the neighborhood, usually got them to move to another town.

Now that's thinking out of the box! Did you ever get any of the perps to sign up for the watch?

From Mayor to local COE campground host, now that's a career path most politicians should try.

It was funny. Not a single person who's door we signed up for was interested in signing up even after we explained the efforts we were going to make to remove drugs from the area (extra patrols, cops taking their dinner and snack breaks in the alley, photographing license plates, etc.). You would have thought they would have been proud to participate in such a comprehensive effort. We should have made the local UHaul outlet fund the thing. He's the one who made all the money.
