Tire Air Pressure
What amount of air pressure are you fellows putting in your Monty tires,I have not noticed anyone saying on the forum. I run with 80# in my 3475RL, not sure I am correct.

Leon, We carry 80 PSI.
Here is a very recent MOC thread that covers the subject quite thoroughly,....

We changed our tires to B F Goodrich truck tires and run 80# in them. The load info and max inflation is printed on the sidewall if you need to check it out. Running the tires at max won't hurt them at all.
Good luck!

I think you'll probably get the same answer from all..... 80 PSI.

For max weight you should use max PSI...80.

For a full load you need to carry the psi indicated on the tires. Ours are 80 psi on the rig as well as the TV.

I run 80 psi in the Montana.
See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!

We got the upgrade to Load Range E tires which are rated at 80psi. The trailer nameplate says 65psi so I asked the dealer and they said 65psi. I checked the load chart and 65psi will work for the load so I run at 65 psi. Tire wear does not appear to be an issue at all. We don't have shocks on our trailer so the lower pressure helps a little. Roling resistance might be a little higher, but most of the fuel is spent on wind resistance at highway speeds. However, if your trailer nameplate says 80, then I would use 80.
