Heartsick, Our Monte is Hurt

Found out Sunday heading south that a tractor trailer bumper doesn't give. Extensive damage to Monte, door & screen door, awning & awning over slide plus much body damage & we were only going 5 mph. Now grounded for 6 weeks until Tom Johnson completes repairs.

Sorry to hear about your accident. At least no one was hurt. Hope you are able to get the repairs done sooner than expected and back to RVing again.

Bummer! Hope the "grounding" doesn't last a whole month and a half.

Happened to us last year and we were out for 2 months. Good luck and hope you don't have to wait the full 6 weeks.

Dang Man! What the heck happened? Did the big truck rear end you? Knock on wood, We've never had that happen but I know it's a serious bummer. Glad you were all ok though.

No matter how hard you try, things happen. That is why they call them accidents... Hard on the wallet but don't be hard on yourself.. Lesson learned with no one hurt.

Back on the road. After being informed it would probally be 12 more weeks, we bought a 2013 Avalanche 330RE with upgrades. Hope we will still be allowed on this site. It is great!!
