End of a 4 Year Adventure

Four years ago we bought our Montana Big Sky and headed out on our great adventure to explore these great United States. Living full-time in our Big Sky for the last four years we have had an incredible journey visiting lots of beautiful places and meeting scores of wonderful people, many of them are fellow MOCER's. During this period we have attended 9 MOC rallies, including a stint as wagon masters at the 2009 Fall Rally in Goshen. Our adventure took us through all 49 of the Continental United States -- boy, what a beautiful country we live in. A key focus of our trip was to visit National Parks, and we we lucky enough to make it to more than 100 of these national gems.

Alas, our great RV adventure has come to an end -- at least for now. We have spent the last four winters in Southern Arizona and have fallen in love with the beautiful Sonoran Desert. After an agonizing wait, we were recently able to buy a beautiful home in Green Valley, a small community 20 miles south of Tucson. Since the bulk of our expected travel in the several years will be visiting family and friends on the East Coast, many of whom are in locals with no handy RV parks, we didn't see much likelihood of being able to continue to use our Big Sky. So, with a good deal of sadness, we took our last rv trip today, taking our Big Sky up to a consignment dealer in Phoenix.

While we won't be traveling in our Big Sky to campgrounds and rallies to meet our MOC friends, we hope to make it to some of the rallies at least for day trips and to maintain the many friendships we have developed with our fellow MOCers over the last four years.

Best wishes until we see you On the Road Again.......

Jo-Anna and David

We well remember your beginning at the fall rally with your yellow legal size notepad and your endless questions. We have crossed paths here and there and it has been our pleasure. We are still on our great adventure although we have pretty well chosen Central Florida as our in the future home base.

The best of luck to you on your new adventure.

Hoping you enjoy you new adventure as much as you did the full timer phase. Sounds like you started about the same time we bought our second Big Sky. Seems like we shared some of the same issues and fixes. Don't look back look ahead to the new adventure.

JoAnna and David-- It was great to meet you at the Fall Rally two years ago. Your energy and scheduling of the event amazed us! We hate to see you leave the ranks but we wish you the best in all your endeavors. If you are ever in the Omaha area give us a jingle and we can talk about old times and enjoy some MOC fraternalizm over a good Nebraska Steak!

David & Joanna, We too, enjoyed your company several times, as I remember. We have done the same and are living in Casa Grande now. We must get together some day. If you are ever headed to Phoenix, we are just off I10. Stop by for some chit chat. Phil and Cathy
