Tire clearance

Decided to upgraded wheels and tires on my 2002 2955RL after blowout last week. My concern is if I go from a ST225/75R15D to a LT235/85R16E would I have any clearance issues, such as contact with fender skirt. I would like to upgrade to a BF Goodrich Commercial TA.

LT235/85R16E 3042lbs/80psi 31.4 inches 9.3 wide

Go back to June 1 and look at my post "Replacement for Chinese tires".

The tires you want are almost 1" taller than the ones I bought and although that may be fine, I wanted the new tires to be as close in size to the 15" ones I had on the trailer. Also another inch may cause problems if you are using the same kind of chocks I am. The chocks just fit between the 245/75/16's.

3042#, 30.6" tall, 10" wide, 80 lbs.

Thanks ! The 245/75R16E would be a better choice.
