NSC Defensive Driving Course

My insurance company gives me a discount for taking this on line safety course. It is a good refresher. If you don't have the discount I suggest you check with your insurance company. Yes there is a fee for taking the course.

John, appreciate the link. State Farm keeps raising rates on the truck.for the last three renewal periods. Local office blames it on the home office but said I could take a defensive driving course and save 10% on my rates. I guess that would help some.

I'm getting aggravated with SF. Haven't had a citation and only claim has been for glass replacement and chip repair after that Alaska trip last year.

I'll look into this on-line course.

Happy trails,

John,

You have provided an excellent choice for auto insurance discounts. Judy and I both took the course. I think it was $19 or $20 each. Not sure. Our premiums dropped considerably. Our insurance company, Geico, has a direct link with this site you gave and it was all effortless once we passed the test. We reduced our premiums more than what we paid for the course.

We have Hartford Insurance and took the defensive driving course a couple weeks ago. AARP puts on the driving course. It cost us $24.00 amd saved us $75.00 a year for the next 3 years, then we have to take the course again. The class is 4 hours for 2 days. This is our second time. Well worth it. Have a Good Day
