Our daughter got Married!

Hey all,
Sorry we haven't been on in a while. We found out on the 14th of October our daughter got engaged. (he did ask my permission). Both were planning on going in the Army and recruiter was assuring them they could easily get stationed together.....well, daughter's food allergies got in the way, but boyfriend/fiance ships to boot camp on 15 Nov. While waiting for a waiver they spoke with a senior recruiter who told them a more honest appraisal of their chances to be stationed together. In fact he told them the only real way they stood a chance of getting stationed to gether is if they were already married when they both joined, so on 27 October they asked us if we were going to be home any of the two intervening weekends before he shipped on the 15th of Nov.
Well, the two weeks flew by and we have been working our tails off. Haven't been on with you fine folks since the 8th (a even then had not kept up with all the threads). Daughter got married on the 10th, got rid of all the company by the 12 and we both promtly got sick. Not sure if either of us will be up to cooking thanksgiving dinner tomorrow but we will try. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Bill

You made it! Getting sick is often the aftermath of these events. Done several myself and I made all the dresses. Talk about stress!!!
Congrats to the bride and groom and we will pray for their safety as they serve our country.
Happy trails......................
