Hi

Check with the people that do vinyl vehicle wraps and signs they can take a picture of your old graphics and reproduce them with their equipment using the better vinly and you will find the cost to be about the same installed as the ones you purchase from Keystone if you remove the old ones. Removal of the old ones is the costly part. The Warranty on the better vinyls is 5 years.

The only thing I would add is an opinion on removing the old ones. I have been slowly removing my mountain scene (right side only) and two "Montana" words (right side and front cap). I start with a heat gun and the old decal peels off pretty good. Next I use a GooGone product that is for caulking, not the regular GooGone. I put a generous amount of GooGone on the glue, let it sit for a minute, then use GooGone wipes to take it off. Wet sand area with 1500 grit wet/dry sand paper using plenty of water. Buff at a slow speed with a compound called EagerBuff, then wax. I get rid of the shadow lines and I can do a 10'x10' area in about 2 days work. The finish product looks better than a new unit. Or, you can go fishing and pay someone else to do it, which I was considering after getting half way done!

I removed most of the graphics on our 2009 3485SA with a large stripe removal tool. Looks like a 4 inch diameter by 5/8 thick white gum eraser with a bolt through the center for attachment to a drill motor. Two things I learned: 1) battery powered drill motors do not have the power to do more than a few minutes 2) use as slow a speed as you can. Fast seems better but will egg shape the rubber wheel if you go too fast.

I use a very fine/small amount of Gorilla Glue to curling edge. So far having the decals being waxed has kept them in place. My Montana is two years old, and it looks new. Keystone has full sets of decals on hand. I plan to keep them looking good till next owner buys my rig. I got spare decals for that person to apply !
