How to Build a Montana - Goshen-style - photos

On our first adventure around the U.S. with our brand new 2013 Montana High Country 343RL we just had to stop at the factory and take a tour of how these things are made. I'm guessing everyone who pulls one of these things should take the tour because they'll get a much better appreciation of all that goes into making these things. We were impressed.

On a side note, we got Keystone to take ownership of the discoloration on our front cap. So when we get back to Southern California it appears we're going to get a new paint job on the front.

These were taken on July 29, 2013. I would have posted them earlier but my Internet connections weren't as good as I have them today.

There are no captions on these photos, but it follows the logical construction of a fifth-wheel, from the frame through the finished production (including the LED lights in the front caps!).

I hope you enjoy these.

Rainer this is just one of the events we enjoy at the Fall Rally. It's a great way to see just how your Montana unit whether it be a regular Montana, Big Sky, Mountaineer, or High Country is built litterly from the ground up! In the past few years we have even got to see the premier additions and premier new units coming out in next years units. Glad you enjoyed your tour and also glad you got the nose cone problem resolved while you were there also. Have a save trip back CA and if you cross through Nebraska give us a hollar and we'll show you some good Nebraska hospitality.

Good to hear you've got your problem on the road to being fixed. We also make the factory tour each time we're at the Rally. Good to know where they're putting stuff before I go to drilling holes.

Thanks for the pics! We also have a Montana High Country 343RL (2011) and are quite happy as well.

You Oregoneons are going to have to break down and make the trip to the Fall Rally sometime! It's well worth the trip and it's a real learning experience too with all seminars put on by the companies that furnish their wares on the Montana, Big Sky, Mountaineer and High Countrys!
LC you'll get your chance to do the tour in about 6 weeks or so!
