MORRyde Step Above Question

Looking to replace steps on our 2012 3750FL. The front door has a strut that the instructions say has to be removed. But the door still won’t open all the way because a) the door looks like it will strike the front slide out, and b) one of the awning arms is behind the door. Has anyone successfully installed the MORryde steps on a 2012 or earlier 3750FL, or is it just not possible?

When our original steps broke a year or so ago, I considered going with the MorRyde steps. After much research, I decided to go with the aluminum tread Lippert steps, which turned out to be an exact replacement for the original steps, and did not require any modifications and also don't carry dirt and debris into the rig when stowing the steps. The steps are rated 300 lbs, and after over 60,000 miles on the rig full timing, I figured the original steps held up quite well, worth just sticking with an exact replacement.

Do yourself a favor and look into the Glow step revolution steps. I put them on my unit several years ago. They are extremely versatile and adjustable to any terrane you will encounter. I have not found a situation yet that they have not been able to be adjusted to, and we have been to many VERY unlevel sites. Best of all, no dirt/sand/debris/water in your camper from them being stowed inside.
