Cubby doors on Montana 2012

My 2012 3400RL has a problem with the cubby door gas extender brackets mounted to the door. They have ripped out of one side and the other door has the screws loose. Problem being the screws are short and the door is particle board. Lots of stress on these brackets. Has anyone else had this problem and anyone have a good permanent fix for this problem? I would appreciate any input.
Thanks, Bob Green.

I posted my fix for this problem to this thread last year. Hope this helps, and there are other fixes that have been posted. http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/...strut,brackets

I also had to repair mine similar to what rohrmann did. No problem since.

Yeah, just another issue that I had with all three doors on the 3800 model, but they are all 100% since I used 3M5200 behind the bracket plates. John
