Galley Grey Tank Full & Not Draining

I have a 2012 Montana 3100RL. Washing dishes last night and kitchen sink would not drain. Sure enough Grey tank #2 was full and tank #1 was half full. Decided I may as well drain the black and both greys. Drained the black and then pulled the one and only lever for the grey tanks. Kitchen sink still full and so was grey #2. No leakage anywhere that I can see. Is there an easy fix or do I have an expensive problem on my hands? Just started full-timing and this was the first time I have had this problem.

You don't say how long you've owned your unit so I'm going to guess it's new to you and the dealer didn't know or tell you. There should be a dump lever for the galley tank just in front or between the tires on the street side of your rig. It is not in the convenience center.

Just bought it privately and previous owner always had it hooked up to city water and sewer and always left the valves open. I've checked and there does not seem to be another lever anywhere near where you mentioned that would drain the galley grey tank.

Should be a black T pull handle a little ways under the edge of the frame either in front of or between the street side wheels. Kneel down and look under.

Yes there definitely is a second grey tank T handle that fools a lot of people the first time out.

Thanks everyone. Found a threaded rod with the t-handle missing and after giving it a good yank with a pair of pliers everything's now good.

You can get a replacement handle for your galley drain at nearly any dealer. Some of them screw on and others have a screw to tighten the handle onto the rod. Good luck and good camping!

It is amazing how difficult it is to find the T-handle. We have a 2018 3120 RL. We have been out four times and the 2nd grey tank just kept showing more full. We read the forum and still couldn't find the valve. Dropped enough of the underbelly to see the valve and the cable and finally found the tiny T-handle just above the dump outlet. And no, the dealer never mentioned that there was any other valve handles than in the convenience center

Dealer pointed out our second handle on our 2016 HC 353rl but didn't specify if it was for galley or shower. Logistics looks like the one in the convience center should be the galley. Any verify which is which?

I have yet to hear of any keystone rv with the galley tank pull in the center...exception would be rear bedroom/front living room, but we are talking about keystone.

The valve in the convenience center should be the shower and the one at back tires should be the galley. The factory needs to install a red t-handle on the back galley tank handle and it would be much easier to find. I don't have the HC but on my 3402rl is this way and most likely yours also. You could test the rear valve by making sure it is empty then turning on your kitchen faucet with the valve open and cap off to see if the water is draining.

on our 2017 353RL the convenience center valve is for the shower tank...the frame mounted valve is for the galley
