motion light switches

Ok in their infinite wisdom, Keystone mounted the motion lights in all of my storage compartments with the switches on top where you can't read them. They are three position rockers. Center is off but I can't tell which way is constant on and which way is motion on. While I had a wall down with one of the lights I took pictures (see attached). Can anyone tell me which way is motion and which way is constant on?

Thanks for the info.

Shame they couldn't have used a switch with an "M" and a "C" for motion and constant or spelled it out. At the very minimum mounted the lights where you could see the switch or at least mention it in the owners manual! Just another one of those little things you would think they would do!

Know what you mean!! I had to go out and physically turn th switch one way and then wait to see if it turned off.......if I did.....that was motion.......turned the switch the other way and waited to see what happened.....and it stayed on. Only way I found out what what.

Oh to save me from pulling the cover. Does anyone know if these lights use LED bulbs?

The cover just twists off though an easy way to tell the difference is if the cover gets real hot quickly it's incandescent. Just barely warm over a couple minutes, it's a multiple (9+/- light emitters) LED. Those pancake lights are usually LED though.

Have the DW cram herself in the compartment and close the door. Ask her if the lights went out. LOL

She would probably damage the doors trying to get out in 2 - 3 days!

As always now, found the lights (and another item) for less than on Amazon.
